A Doll House, the classic play by Henrik Ibsen, comes to Brush Creek Playhouse
Brush Creek Players are very excited to bring to life one of the classics of the theater — A Doll House, by Henrik Ibsen, a groundbreaking tale of marriage, of relationships, of growth and of redemption.
“Ibsen’s characters bring depth and reality to his plays – he wrote about people, not caricatures, making his plays both delightful and challenging for the cast,” said Michael Wood, who is directing the show with Ryan Laack. “Ryan and I have been lucky enough to work with a cast with the ability to bring those characters to life, with all the complexities of real people.”
The show will open September 28 and run three weekends to close on October 14, with evening performances at 7 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as 2 pm matinees on Sundays.
Tickets are $10 general admission, with discounted tickets available for students ($8) and children under 12 ($7) and seniors 60 and older ($7). They can be purchased in advance at the following locations:
Item 9 Opportunity Shoppe (formerly the Clothes Garden), 208 E. Main Street, Silverton (503) 873-7362
