Auditions for “The True Tale of the Sleeping Beauty,” Day 1
December 7, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Brush Creek will be kicking off its season with the 2020 children and youth production of “The True Tale of the Sleeping Beauty,” which first appeared on the Brush Creek stage in 2014, once again directed by Linda Zellner. This delightful and fresh version of the classic Brothers Grimm tale, written by Emily Wood and Michael Wood, features a range of wonderful roles — and it will give you a fresh perspective on the relationship between the princess and her true love. The play will be performed by arrangement with Evander Dramatic Press (Evander Publishing).
Young actors (or would-be actors) up through the age of 18 are encouraged to audition — no preparation is required. You can attend either or both of the auditions, which will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, December 7, and at 2 pm on Sunday, December 8. For more information contact Linda at ljzel@aol.com.
Those interested in being part of the productions technical crew are also invited to attend or to contact Linda.
Brush Creek’s production will open its run in mid-February, with rehearsals beginning early in January.
