Brush Creek Players are holding open auditions for “A Bench in the Sun,” written by Ron Clark and directed by Sonja Persey. Auditions will be at Brush Creek Playhouse at 2 pm on both Saturday, January 31, and Sunday, February 1.

Cast needed: 2 males & 1 female (playing roles 52 and older)Performance dates: April 10-12, April 17-19 and April 24-26

Synopsis of play: Harold and Burt, longtime friends, live in a retirement home and spend their days on a bench in the garden bickering. A once famous actress has just moved in, giving them something new to argue over. When they learn that the home is about to be sold and they will have to find a new residence, the three join forces to prevent this upsetting development. …
