“Snow White” Auditions on April 4 and 5

Auditions for Children & Youth April 4 and 5!
The annual BCP Children & Youth production is back — with one of our biggest crowd-pleasers to celebrate our return to the stage!

Brush Creek will hold open auditions for The Brothers Grimm Tale of Snow White, directed by Linda Zellner, on Monday, April 4 and Tuesday, April 5, from 6 to 8 pm each day. These open auditions will be held at the playhouse, located at 11535 Silverton Road. The parking lot entrance is off of Brush Creek Road.

Attendance at both days of auditions can be useful, but it is not required. And if you are interested but simply unable to make either day, let Linda know at LJZEL@aol.com.

The production will run weekends beginning Friday, June 10 and closing Sunday, June 26.

The Brothers Grimm Tale of Snow White is Michael Wood’s adaptation of the classic tale, performed by arrangement with Evander Dramatic Press.

The beautiful and innocent princess, hated and pursued by the vain and evil queen, touches the heart of even the most suspicious of the dwarfs when she stumbles across them in the forest. But the queen is not done with her yet!

Brush Creek has performed this particular play twice before, and the productions were so well received by audience and cast alike that they even led to a sequel! Come be part of our 2022 production of this delightful tale!

The play includes a variety of roles suitable to children of all ages — and every character in the play has his or her moment to shine, from the most innocent of the dwarfs to the castle steward!

Evil Villain, Innocent Heroine, and a Dashing Hero!

All is not well at the Circle D Wagons Ranch. Sweet and innocent ranch owner Blossom White, her mother Lily and faithful ranch hand Quiet Harry are working hard to keep the ranch in the black, or at least out of the red.

Unfortunately, they are plagued by rustler Black Bart Bushwacker, who has wrangled a job as their “trusted” foreman, who is hard at work with his secret partner, Scarlett Vixen.

Will no one be able to stop these villains? The White family’s ooooooonlyyyyy hope appears to be Steve Dashing. Can he save the day!

Tickets are still just $10 (and only $8 for children, students & seniors)

Contact Michael Wood at (503)508-3682 for more information or if you want to make a group ticket purchase.

BCP Pivots to Melodrama, but the Season is On! Begins March 18

Unfortunately, Brush Creek did not get a full cast for The Bat. We will give it a try again next fall. But we did get a group of actors who were willing to take off in a different direction.

Rustlers of Red Rock, by D. Chapelle, will open a 3-weekend run on Friday, March 18. BCP Veteran Norman Gouveia will be directing the show, and he and the cast are anxious to get this new production in front of Brush Creek audiences.
