News about coming productions!

First off, this year’s summer melodrama will be a staged reading — watch for more information regarding the July schedule and come check it out!

Brush Creek would also like to announce the cast for next November’s production of Neil Simon’s “I Ought to Be in Pictures.” Libby will be played by Emily Wood. Steffy will be played by Charlotte Bohlmann. And Herb will be played by Michael Wood. As you can see, they are getting an early start — be sure to plan to attend this show when it opens the first Friday in November (for a three weekend run).

Finally, for the teens and young adults out there, this year’s production will be “You Know I Don’t Love You.” Open auditions will be held at 6 pm Sat, July 11; 6 pm Sun, July 12; and 6 pm Mon, July 13.  Performances will run from Fri, Sept 18 thru Sun, Oct 4. You still have a chance to play the heroine . . . or the hero . . . or the villain . . . .or any of an assortment of intriguing characters in Brush Creek’s 2015 Summer Melodrama.

At 6 pm on Sunday the 14th and Monday the 15th, we will be holding further auditions to complete casting “Love in the Cucumber Patch or The Pickled Road to Romance” by Janet Carter (with additional dialogue by Shannon Copeland and Sonya Heard). This light-hearted melodrama will be produced for three weekends beginning Friday, July 17. It is a wonderful opportunity for actors (or would-be actors) of all experience levels!
